At an early age, Grace developed a love for both music and the gospel.
She was inspired by various gospel artists like Panam Percy Paul, Ron Kenoly and Don Moen, Mary Mary & Kirk Franklin.
Her Aunty, Chief (Mrs.) Grace Ndalugi, would send to her, from time to time, VHS cassettes of these gospel singers
for her listening pleasure. Grace led the junior choir in her secondary school and thereafter joined a group
that sang in a few fellowship events in the university. She joined the G-house singing group in All Talented
Christian Club, Zaria, and was a member of the Savannah Grace of Minstrels of Grace choir.
Grace is also a writer and recently published her 1st book – LIVE-Stop Merely Existing, Focus & Shoot
Grace also has had a 15year of experience in both the banking and e-payment industry. Combining music, writing and a corporate career only gives her more sense of fulfillment.
Concerning her debut album and in her own words …’ During the lockdown, I read a book- A purpose-driven life by
Rick Warren. Before that time, I had asked the Lord for the next steps in my life. I had a plan already and had
documented the same, I however paused to seek the Lord while also reading the book, as I remembered that my future
was in God’s plan, not mine. It came out clearly while meditating on that book, that my purpose here on earth was to
glorify God and bring others to the saving knowledge of Christ with my talents. My next question was…’ Lord, this
talent I had not refined in a while, how was I supposed to use it now. Writing songs in school and public signing
happened a long time, about 19years ago. Ok, I knew I loved to sing and write, so I got busy. Did I mention that
while reading that book, on a particular morning, 4 songs dropped in my spirit?. I wrote them down and put music
to them all within 4 hours that morning. I honestly could not believe it, they came in a rush. You would find that
most of the songs are focused on reconciling men to God, as a joint heir with Christ. This is the main vision for
this album’.
Grace also received an instruction from the Lord to contribute her quota in supporting marriages, hence,
the introduction of the platform – Focus on marriage. This is an online community marriage forum that serves
as a meeting point for the married and marriage counselors. The platform allows members to anonymously share
their experiences and challenges in marriage and get good counsel from other forum members and forum councilors,
thereby helping them succeed in their marriages.
Through her songs, the book, and the online community, she trusts God to help her fulfill some of the reasons
she is here on earth;
